The Notebook function allows you to make notes about current experiments. Type into the text field to add notes.

• Clear – Clears notes field.
• Time Stamp – Inserts a timestamp and the current frame count to the notebook.
• Save button – Saves the current contents of the notebook into a date/time stamped text file in the imaging root folder.

The current content of the notebook is saved at the end of any acquisition, alongside the data and settings file. A timestamp and file-path are added to the notebook at the beginning and end of each acquisition.
